St. John the Evangelist Top Five Accomplishments
Weekly Update Communications
All parent communications are sent electronically through email, using Flocknote web based software. This allows the school to use less paper, save money and provide convenience for the community. Families have access to information electronically about all that is happening at the school. They are often given links to sign up to volunteer, to access field trip information and even purchase school spirit gear. Click here to view communications. |

New Property
Through donations and purchase, in 2015-2016, the parish was able to acquire 17 acres of land adjacent to the current location. This property includes forest, water and bog areas. Portions of this property are being set aside for forestation conservation and plans are being developed for an outdoor education area. |
Water Fountains
EZH20 water fountains were installed during the summer of 2016. Combining energy savings, system diagnostics, and a clean sensor activated bottle filler, the EZH20 series have allowed students, faculty, staff, and visitors to eliminate the waste of over 1000 plastic water bottles during the school day. Water Fountains were made possible by the Aging Schools Grant through MSDE. |
