This page has been created to help parents navigate PowerSchool.  Please see the below instructions, pictures, and links to help answer your questions.  If you still need help, email Danielle Silk 
We are currently in T1 which runs until Thursday, November 14th.  Report cards will be sent home for all students on Friday, November 22nd.  PARENT ACCESS IS STILL OPEN, BUT FINAL GRADES HAVE BEEN REMOVED UNTIL T2 BEGINS ... you can still see individual assignments by clicking where the final grade would have been, and you will then see all of the assignments.  

Setting up your PowerSchool account for the first time ...

  1. Go to archbalt.powerschool.com
  2. Click Create New Account tab
  3. Enter your access ID and password
  4. You will be prompted to create a username and password.  
  5. Continue to use archbalt.powerschool.com to log into your account, but use the Sign In tab.

PowerSchool Directions for parents who are adding another student to their account ...

  1. Log in with your current username and password - archbalt.powerschool.com
  2. Click on Account Preferences (left side of screen, toward bottom)
  3. Click the Students tab
  4. Click the Add button
  5. Enter Student Access Information from attached letter
  6. Click OK

Using the PowerSchool app on a SmartPhone or Tablet ...

You can download the PowerSchool app to your smartphone or tablet.  Please remember ...  you must set up the accounts first!  Then you link your account to the app.  The District code (you will be asked for this) is PJQM.  Search for PowerSchool Mobile in the app store.

​ELA Category Weighting - Students in grades 3-8 will receive
an English Language Arts (ELA) grade based on category weighting instead of points.  The weights are as follows:

·         Comprehension 30%
·         Oral Language 10%
·         Vocabulary 10%
·         Grammar 20%
·         Writing 25%
·         Spelling 5%
